If something isn’t right with a delivered image, you can send it back to us from your dashboard. Each image you pick gets its own note, so we know exactly what to change on which shot.
Revisions open once your order is marked Completed, and stay open for 7 days after that.
Before you start — what a revision costs
Any revisions made due to Nula’s failure to follow your directions are free of charge. Revisions made due to unclear directions from the client which were open to interpretation and assumption will be paid.
You’ll see this same note at the top of the request window, so there are no surprises when the work comes back.
1. Open the order
Go to Orders in the sidebar and click the order the image belongs to. Revisions are attached to an order, not to a gallery, so start here.
2. Click “Request revision”
The button sits with the other actions near the top of the order. It only becomes available once the order is completed — before that it’s greyed out, because there are no delivered images to revise yet.
3. Pick the images you want changed
The window shows every delivered image on that order. Click each one you’d like revised — picked images are outlined. You can choose as many as you need in one request; there’s no need to send several.
4. Write a note on each one
Every image you pick gets its own note box, in the order you picked them. Tell us what to change about that shot — “crop tighter at the hem”, “the blue is reading too warm”, “remove the crease on the left sleeve”.
A note is required on every image you pick. An image with an empty note won’t be sent — a picked image with no instruction tells the retoucher nothing.
5. Send the request
Submit when every picked image has a note. That’s the whole request — there’s nothing else to fill in.
What happens next
- Your order moves to In Revision, so you can see at a glance that it’s back with us.
- Your notes go straight to the studio and to the photographer who shot it, each one shown next to the image it’s about — in your words, not summarised.
- We come back to you with the reworked images. If anything about the request isn’t clear, we’ll ask before starting rather than guess.
If the 7 days have passed
The button is still there, and it will tell you the window has closed rather than leaving you wondering. Nothing can be submitted through it at that point — message the studio and we’ll pick it up from there.
The 7 days run from the day the order was completed, and asking for a revision doesn’t restart the clock.
Who on your team can do this
Anyone on your account with the request revisions permission. If the button isn’t there for you, the account owner can turn it on from Team.
